About the AHF?
The American Homesteading Foundation or AHF is a not-for-profit organization that owns and manages more than 50 acres of park land, community swimming pool, recreation hall, and sponsors year-round educational and social events for all ages. It is not an HOA.
Run by an elected board of trustees assisted by a small part-time staff of three, the AHF administrates the privately owned property on behalf of - and with the help of its members. Approximately 25% of the membership volunteers their time in one way or another.
In addition to the diverse natural park areas, the AHF owns a meeting hall that seats 100, swimming pool, playground, basketball court, baseball field, and community vegetable garden.
The annual explosion of Azaleas outside the AHF Hall is a favorite time for family photos.
